Barcelona allowed Abde to join Real Betis last summer for €7m. With the Blaugrana holding 50 per cent of the player’s rights, meaning they will receive the second half of any future transfer fee for the Morocco international.
According to reports from Andalusian media, several clubs from the Saudi Arabian league are interested in signing Abde this summer. With Betico hoping to get a fee of around €18-20 million, with the Blaugrana set to receive half of the fee.
However, Abde still has a desire to stay at Real Betis. So it will be up to the Saudi club to convince the 22-year-old winger to join them.
Initially, Ezzalzouli’s official bio described him as a player for Barcelona and a Moroccan international.
He added that the Moroccan Football Federation will try to reach a “friendly agreement. Explain things and find an acceptable solution for all.”
