AC Milan are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita on a free transfer this summer.

Keita has struggled for form since his £52.75m move from RB Leipzig in 2018, making just 127 appearances for Liverpool in five years. Almost half of which came as a substitute.

The midfielder is expected to leave the Reds on a free transfer this summer. And according to the latest reports, Milan is ready to convince Keita to join the army.

Keita had high expectations. When he joined Liverpool. After impressing with Leipzig in Germany.

But the 28-year-old midfielder was unable to impress. Despite winning the Premier League and Champions League, and having to constantly face injuries.

It is understood Leipzig would also like to bring him back to the Bundesliga as well, but Milan are now stepping up to secure the Guinean’s signature.

Leipzig reportedly tried to sign him in January, but Jurgen Klopp stood in the way of Keita’s mid-season move. Almost half of which came as a substitute.

However, there have been no signs that Keita will sign a new contract at Anfield and he is free to talk about signing a pre-contract with a foreign club.
